It’s not often that you get freebie items from premium retailers but when they do, they are worthwhile and don’t last long.  If you are looking to update your holiday music collection, well then, the iTunes store is the place to go.  They have a Holiday Music Sampler that consists of 20 songs, some from top well-known artists.  Don’t worry, these are not the same overplayed songs that you hear on the radio.

This sampler is pretty neat in that you can click on the sampler “song” which is a link/script that launches a menu within iTunes that allows you to play the songs and find out more information about each artist.  Of course you can play the songs without doing this just as you normally would play your collection.

I am picky about my music on the computer and how it sounds.  The music files have a 256k bitrate and sound great.  Though I would prefer higher bitrates for when I play iTunes through my hi-fi system, this album will be just fine for party or simply holiday background music.  I have found these artists’ renditions as fresh as the fallen snow.  Let it snow itunes!  Thanks for the download.
